ORDINANCE NO. 2007-4-7274
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR FIRE STATION #5 ROOF REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2006-10-7189 in an amount not to
exceed $13,420.80, which included entering into a contract with Bouldin Roofing Company, in
the amount of $11,184.00 and setting aside a contingency of $2,236.80, for Fire Station #5 Roof
Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $12,685.00, is necessary due
to the manufacturer requiring the installation of wood roof decking for warranty to be in effect
and in order to finalize the project for the above -referenced contract, increasing the total contract
price to $23,869.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor to
execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $12,685.00 with Bouldin Roofing Company, for
installation of wood roof decking for Fire Station #5 Roof Replacement Project, increasing the
total contract price to $23,869.00.

This expenditure shall be charged to Fire Department Services/Other account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
