AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
PAY FOR THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF THE NOBLE PARK POOL
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager
l' that the services required for the repair of a series of leaks in the piping including a break
in a large 8" feed line will be made pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay Murtco
Incorporated, the sum of $38,518.76, for services required for the emergency repair of
Noble Park Pool.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Parks Plant Pool
Repair account.
SECTION 3. An emergency is hereby declared to exist due to the time
constraints associated with the repair and it being imperative for the pool to be open on
Memorial Day, this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one reading.
