ORDINANCE NO. 2008-1-7381
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A
SUB COMPACT SWEEPER FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
C1 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Municipal Equipment
Company, in the total amount of $75,330.00, for a sub compact sweeper for use in the Public
Works Department, said bids being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as
contained in the bids of Municipal Equipment Company, of December 5, 2007.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Municipal Equipment Company, for the purchase of one sub compact sweeper, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to the Rolling Stock/Equipment -
Heavy account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
