AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH CMI HEATING & AC INC. FOR THE NEW
HVAC SYSTEM AT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CENTER
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2007-4-7265 to enter into a
contract with CMI Heating & AC Inc. in the amount of $103,913.00 for installation of a new
HVAC unit at the Chamber of Commerce Center; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$14,239.54 for replacing the roof vent system and electrical repairs to make the system code
compliant, increasing the total contract price to $118,152.54.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $14,239.54 with CMI Heating & AC Inc., for
replacing the roof vent system and electrical repairs to make the system code complaint,
increasing the total cost to $118,152.54.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
