ORDINANCE NO. 2008-5-7424
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GUY GRAY SUPPLY
COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF DECORATIVE POLE LIGHT FIXTURES
FOR DOLLY MCNUTT PLAZA, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Guy Gray
Supply Company for furnishing the City with twenty-four (24) decorative pole light
fixtures for the Dolly McNutt Plaza in the amount of $36,600.00, said purchase being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as
contained in the bid of Guy Gray Supply Company of April 15, 2008.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Guy Gray Supply Company for furnishing the City with decorative pole light fixtures as
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Public Works
Services/Other account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective summa upon publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
