ORDINANCE NO. 2008-5-7423
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PEOPLE PLUS, INC., TO
PROVIDE TEMPORARY SERVICES AS NEEDED FOR VARIOUS DIVISIONS IN
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of People Plus, Inc.
to provide temporary services as needed for various divisions in the Public Works
Department at the hourly rates of $6/hour, $7/hour and $8/hour plus administration fees
as follows:
Administration Fees
Laborer 42%
Refuse 50%
Clerical 35%
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for
bid, and as contained in the bid of People Plus, Inc., on April 17, 2008.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with People Plus, Inc., to provide temporary services to Public Works authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure will be charged through Public Works
Various account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
