ORDINANCE NO. 2008-4-7410
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF PADUCAH FOR A
HOUSING COMMUNITY OFFICER
WHEREAS, Paducah Housing Authority (PHA) receives funding to
perform management improvements within and upon Housing Authority of Paducah
properties for the health, safety, and general welfare of all tenants; and
WHEREAS, the PHA and the City have identified the need continues to
exist for interaction between the PHA and the City of Paducah Police Department and
have agreed the position of Housing Community Officer (HCO) satisfies the need; and
WHEREAS, the PHA and the City continue to agree upon the rights and
obligations of the parties regarding the HCO; and

WHEREAS, the parties would like to continue this partnership for another
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah authorizes and directs the Mayor to
execute an agreement between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the Housing Authority
of Paducah for the position of Housing Community Officer.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
