There will be a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. for a Budget
Workshop. The workshop will be held at the Parks & Recreation Building at 1400
H.C. Mathis Drive, Paducah, Kentucky, in the Senior Activity Room on the 1St

A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH
PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO APPLY FOR A 2018 U.S. BULLETPROOF VEST
PARTNERSHIP GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,030 THROUGH THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Paducah Planning Department is hereby authorized to
apply for a 2018 U.S. Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant through the U.S. Department of Justice
in the amount of $7,030 to be used to purchase body armor vests for the Police Department. The
City will provide a cash match of $7,030 from the Police Department's grant funds through the
Law Enforcement Protection Program.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
