AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2007
SAFETY GRANT FROM THE KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF CITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a 2007 Kentucky League of
Cities Safety Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 1316 on October 23, 2007, for the
purchase of one in -car digital camera for the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Leagues of Cities has approved the application
and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement
and all documents necessary to obtain a 2007 safety grant award in the amount of
$2,398.00 from the Kentucky League of Cities for the purchase of one in -car digital
camera. The required match of $2,397.00 will be provided from the Police Department's
current budget.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
