AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FLENER BROTHERS, INC.,
FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF FENCING FOR STUART NELSON DOG
PARK, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
\ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Flener Brothers, Inc., in an
amount not to exceed $38,000 for the purchase and installation of fencing for Stuart Nelson Dog
Park, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids,
and as contained in the bid of Flener Brothers, Inc., dated June 18, 2012. The following prices
are for materials:
1600 +/- LF of 2B 8 gage 9 core, 4" Black Vinyl fence at $13.75 LF
12" wide 4" double vehicular gate, 8 gage 9 core Black Vinyl at $500 ea.
4" wide 4" single pedestrian gate, 8 gage 9 core Black Vinyl at $345 ea.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Flener
Brothers, Inc., for the purchase and installation of fencing, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account PA0087.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
