AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ADDENDUM 1- CONCESSION AND
SPRAY PAD TO THE AGREEMENT WITH FLORENCE & HUTCHESON, INC. FOR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE NOBLE PARK
POOL RENOVATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
ADDENDUM 1
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted Ordinance No. 2011-11-7881 approving
an Agreement with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., in the amount of $98,700.00 for professional
engineering services for the Noble Park Pool Renovation Project; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested the scope of the pool rehabilitation project be
expanded to include replacement of the existing wading pool and the concession area and to
amend the contract to include work associated with these improvements, as well as the addition
of hot water features to the bathhouse showers; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary for the City to adopt an ordinance to clarify and
confirm the amended agreement.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves Addendum 1 -Concession
and Spray Pad with Florence & Hutcheson, Inc., in the amount of $44,500.00 for additional
professional engineering services for the Noble Park Pool Renovation Project, increasing the
total contract amount to $143,200.00.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Addendum 1 with
Florence & Hutcheson, Inc. for additional professional engineering services as authorized in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Noble Park Pool
Renovation Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days end will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRIS Chap%r 424.
