Commissioner Taylor was absent NOTICES OF CALLED MEETING Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 1991, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby, and Mayor,Montgomery (4). ORDINANCES - INTRODUCTION 1991-92 FY BUDGET Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the Board of Commissioners adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1991, THROUGH JUNE 30, 1992, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT". This ordinance shall become effective upon publication in full. FORESTRY GRANT ($14,110.00) Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the Board of Commissioners adopt an ordinance entitled, 'AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION CABINET, DIVISION OF FORESTRY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $14,110.00 FOR AN URBAN FORESTRY ASSISTANCE GRANT". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with the Kentucky Division of Forestry for an Urban Forestry Assistance Grant in an amount not to exceed $14,100.00. EXECUTIVE SESSION Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by I1 Commissioner Grumley, that the Board of Commissioners go into Executive Session for discussions which might lead to the appointment, discipline or dismissal of an individual employee, and to discuss litigation. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby and Mayor Montgomery (4). At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board reconvened in Open Session, whereupon the Mayor called the meeting back to order. Mayor Montgomery discussed the Task Force on Highways. The urged the City Manager and Commissioners to attend a Task Force Meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 1991, at 9:00 a.m. at Kentucky Dam State Park Lodge in Gilbertsville.
