AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF M. P. LAWSON
CONSTRUCTION, LLC FOR PLUMBING RENOVATION FOR FIRE STATION #2, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of M. P. Lawson
Constrution, LLC, in the amount of $74,787.00 for plumbing renovation for Fire Station #2,
located at 3000 Wayne Sullivan Drive said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of M. P. Lawson Construction,
LLC of September 15, 2016.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with M.
P. Lawson Construction, LLC for plumbing renovation for Fire Station #2, as authorized in
Section 1 above, pursuant to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account PF0070.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
