HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-09-8421ORDINANCE NO. 2016-9-8421 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF DUMPSTERS, LIDS AND REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR FY2016-2017 FOR UTILIZATION BY COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. MA -758- 1600000557-1 and competitive bidding is not required. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay an amount not to exceed $70,000 for FY2016-2017 to Municipal Equipment, Inc., for the purchase of various sized dumpsters, lids and replacement parts for the Solid Waste Division of Engineering -Public Works. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Municipal Equipment, for the purchase of various sized dumpsters, lids and replacement parts authorized in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Solid Waste Fund -Non Rolling Stock -Equipment Other, account number 050-2210-531-4219. SECTION 4.
