ROLL CALL
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
held in the Commission Chambers at City Hall at 9:00 a.m.,
Tuesday, May 25, 1993, Mayor Montgomery presided, and upon call
of the roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Feezor, Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor
Montgomery (5).
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Feezor offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Grumley, that the executed copies of the Notice of
Called Meeting to be held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, 1993,
be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Feezor,
Grumley, Hornsby, and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner
Taylor was not present when the vote was called for this
motion.
ORDINANCES - ADOPTIONS
PURCHASE OF FIRE APPARATUS FOR THE FIRE DEPT.
Commissioner Feezor offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Grumley, that the Board of Commissioners adopt an
ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATION
AND CONSUMMATION OF APPROPRIATE AGREEMENTS WHEREIN NEW FIRE
APPARATUS IS ACQUIRED FROM EMERGENCY ONE, INC., IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $1,670,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WHEREIN THE CITY LEASES SAID FIRE
APPARATUS DIRECTLY FROM A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OR THROUGH THE
CITY OF PADUCAH PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION." The foregoing
title summarizes the contents of this ordinance.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Feezor,
Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor Montgomery (5).
AMEND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Feezor, that the Board of Commissioners adopt an
ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY". This ordinance is
summarized as follows: Amending the Comprehensive Plan for the

City of Paducah, by adopting an amendment entitled, "Compre-
hensive Plan Amendment for the Paducah Information Age Park."
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Feezor,
Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor Montgomery (5).
ZONE ASSIGNMENT OF INFORMATION AGE PARK
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Taylor, that the Board of Commissioners adopt an
ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF
THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE ZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 60, 62 AND OLIVET CHURCH
ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT
SUCH ZONING." This ordinance is summarized as follows: Zoning
property located on between U.S. Highway 60, 62 and Olivet
Church Road, and directing an amendment to the Paducah Zoning
Ordinance, designating the zone classification for this area as
POP Zone.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas; Commissioners Feezor,
Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor Montgomery (5).
WORKSHOP
The Board held a Workshop for a budget review session for the
Police Department.
