AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 18-91 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 18-91 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"All wiring shall be installed in electrical metallic tubing, or rigid conduit or listed
metal clad (MC) cable in the city in all business buildings; provided, however, such tubing or
conduit shall not be required if the Building and Electrical Inspector finds that other wiring
methods will not create a hazard and authorizes the use of such other wiring methods in writing."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
