ORDINANCE NO. 2012-2-7903
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SEVENTY-TWO
VARIOUS SIZED DUMPSTERS INCLUDING LIDS AND ADDITIONAL FITTINGS TO BE
UTILIZED BY COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State of Kentucky Master
Agreement Number MA 758 1100000316-2, and, therefore, competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay $71,826.00 for the
purchase of seventy-two various sized dumpsters including lids and additional fittings for the
City of Paducah Engineering -Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division, to be utilized by
commercial businesses within the City of Paducah, in compliance with the Kentucky State
Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Solid Waste Fund account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
