AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIVE 2012 DODGE
CHARGER PURSUIT VEHICLES FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
WHEREAS, these vehicles are available under State Contract No. MA 758-
1100000905-1, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum of
$134,253.90 to Freedom Dodge for the purchase of five 2012 Dodge Chargers for the City of
Paducah's Police Department, in compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Freedom
Dodge, for the purchase of five 2012 Dodge Chargers, authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Rolling Stock/Vehicles — Fleet
Trust Fund account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
