MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m.
Present:
Jeff Pederson, City Manager
Rick Murphy, City Engineer
Brandon Barnhill, Chief of Police
Steve Ervin, Director of Planning
Claudia Meeks was present to take notes
NEW BUSINESS:
Curbside parking congestion on LaBelle Street next to Dry Ground Brewery.
Motion made by Rick Murphy to consider installation of "No Parking" signs on the North and
South ends of LaBelle Street up to two car lengths. Installation location will be done by City
Engineer, Rick Murphy, to maximize parking without risking traffic movement and sight
distance.
Seconded by Brandon Barnhill
Off - Street parking complaint at 23rd and Broadway — Trucks and trailer are parked there all
the time with a 30- minute parking sign.
After discussion
DECISION: Paducah Police will enforce existing ordinance regarding street -side parking
Basketball goals situated in the public rights -of -way
After discussion, no action was taken at this time. Further review is required.
