HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-8-7848ORDINANCE NO. 2011-8-7848 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR CHANGES MADE DURING THE ASSEMBLY OF THE 2011 TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPER TRUCK FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2011-3-7799 accepting the bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company along with Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., for the purchase of one 2011 Triple Combination Pumper Truck for use by the Fire Department in the amount of $403,130.00; and WHEREAS, changes were made to the truck during the assembly, therefore, Change Order No. 1 is required in the amount of $4,379.00, increasing the total contract price to $407,509.00. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $4,379.00 with Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc., along with Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., increasing the total contract amount to $407,509.00. This change order, as attached hereto, includes additions and deletions that were made to the truck during the assembly. SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to the Fleet Fund account. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. A TEST: ��' /2A__Q C4 Tammara S.
