AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE PADUCAH-MCCRACKEN COUNTY CONVENTION AND
VISITORS BUREAU FOR SPECIFIC SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with the Paducah -McCracken County Convention and Visitors Bureau in the amount of
$25,000 as a match for a state tourism grant and to assist with marketing events related to
the American Quilters Society Show. This contract shall expire June 30, 2011.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Investment Fund
Services Other account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
