AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JONES
EXCAVATING/DEMOLISHING LLC FOR DEMOLITION OF A CONDEMNED
STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 1379 IRVIN COB DRIVE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Jones
Excavating/Demolishing LLC in the amount of $33,900.00 for demolition of a condemned
structure at 1379 Irvin Cobb Drive in the City of Paducah, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Jones
Excavating/Demolishing LLC of April 16, 2010.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Jones Excavating/Demolishing LLC for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to MR0039 Project Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
