HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-3-7798ORDINANCE NO. 2011-3-7798 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS THROUGH THE KENTUCKY HERITAGE COUNCIL TO BE USED FOR A PRESERVATION TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR HISTORIC PROPERTIES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID GRANT AGREEMENT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of $4,000 through the Kentucky Heritage Council to be used for Preservation Training Workshop for historic properties. This grant requires a local cash match of $3,500 which is appropriated in the City's Planning Department's budget. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with the Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund Board to obtain a grant in the amount of $4,000 for training in the preservation and restoration of historic properties. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project Account CD0077. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: J&rx'71w,oc v- &-Ck Tammara S.
