AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KOTTER READY MIX, FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF CONCRETE READY -MIX, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of Kotter Ready Mix, for sale to the
City of its requirement of concrete ready -mix, for the remainder of 2011 and calendar year 2012,
ending December 31, 2012; with a one-year option to renew ending December 31, 2013, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Kotter
Ready Mix, of February 10, 2011, for the following prices:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Kotter
Ready Mix which includes a one-year renewal option, for sale to the City of the material
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid of February 10, 2011. Said contract
shall begin upon execution and end December 31, 2012 with the option for an additional one-
year renewal ending December 31, 2013 upon mutual agreement of both parties.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
