HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-2-7782ORDINANCE NO. 2011-2-7782 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ADVANCED FIRE & RESCUE EQUIPMENT FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF A BREATHING AIR FILL SYSTEM FOR USE IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Advanced Fire & Rescue Equipment in the total amount of $38,199.00, for the purchase of a breathing air fill system for use in the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Advanced Fire & Rescue Equipment, of December 15, 2010. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Advanced Fire & Rescue Equipment for the purchase of a breathing air fill system, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This purchase will be paid with funds received from a Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance to Firefighter Grant Award and shall be charged to Project No. FI0022. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: ��/�� dc Tammara S.
