ROLL CALL
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held at
4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 1997, in the City Hall Commission
Chambers, Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of the roll by
the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commis-
sioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro and Mayor Jones (4).
Commissioner Smith was absent (1).
NOTICES OF CALLED MEETING
Commissioner Renfro offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
Grumley, that the copies of Notice of Called Meeting of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 4:30 p.m., 1/
Tuesday, May 6, 1997, be received and filed. Adopted on call
of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro,
and Mayor Jones (4).
APPOINTMENTS
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Mayor Jones made the following appointments: "WHEREAS, subject
to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, I hereby make
the following appointments to the Board of Adjustment:
W.O. Green to fill the unexpired term of Garland
Graves, who has resigned. This term will expire
August 31, 1997; and
Burford Wilson to fill the unexpired term of Frank /
Brown Jr., whose position is vacant due to lack of V_
required meeting attendance as a result of illness.
This term will expire August 31, 2000."
Commissioner Renfro offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
!"¶ Coleman, that the Board of Commissioners approve the action of
Mayor Jones in appointing W.O. Green and Burford Wilson as
members of the Board of Adjustment. Adopted on call of the
roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro and Mayor
Jones (4).
THE BOARD HELD A WORKSHOP for departmental briefings and budget
discussion.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
