ORDINANCE NO. 2015-10-8304
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
PAY FOR THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF THE COOLING TOWER AT THE
PARKS SERVICES BUILDING LOCATED AT 1400 H.C. MATHIS DRIVE
WHEREAS, on September 3, 2015, a written determination was made by the City
Manager that emergency repair services were required for the cooling tower at the Parks
Services building as it became inoperative during the high summer temperatures;
therefore, this purchase for emergency repair will be made pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay to
Commercial Marine & Industrial Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., the sum of
$26,800.00, for services required for the emergency repair of the cooling tower at the
Parks Services building located at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to EPW Property/Plant
account number 001-8-2216-531-3305.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
