At a Called Joint Meeting of the Board of Commissioners and
the McCracken County Fiscal Court, held at the Information
Age Park Resource Center at 5:00 p.m., January 29, 1997,
Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of the roll by the City
Manager, the following answered to their names: Commis-
sioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro, Smith and Mayor Jones
(5). The City Clerk did not attend this meeting.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
Renfro, that the Board to into closed session for discussion of
matters pertaining to the following topic:
1. Future sale or acquisition of a specific parcel(s) of real /
estate, as permitted by KRS 61.810(1)(b)
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman,
Grumley, Renfro, Smith and Mayor Jones (5).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Boards reconvened
in open session.
800 MHz DISCUSSION was held.
Commissioner Renfro offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
Coleman, that the City accept the McCracken County Sheriff's ✓
Department onto the City's 800 MHz system, subject to the
conditions outlined in a January 27 letter executed by the City
Manager and McCracken County Judge/Executive. (See minute file
for a copy of this letter). Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro and Mayor Jones (4).
Commissioner Smith voted nay (1).
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
