AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN
DEERE TRACTOR FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. MA 758
0700002304, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $39,211.06 to John Deere for the purchase of one 5105ML John Deere Tractor for the
City of Paducah/Engineering-Public Works Department/Floodwall Division, in
compliance with Kentucky State Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
John Deere, for the purchase of one tractor, authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Rolling Stock/Vehicles
— Fleet Lease Trust Fund account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
