HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-11-7766ORDINANCE NO. 2010-11-7766 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BLUEGRASS UNIFORMS INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF UNIFORMS FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE - A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Bluegrass Uniforms Inc., in an amount not to exceed $50,000 per year, for furnishing the City with uniforms for Police Department employees, for a period of two calendar years ending with December 31, 2012, said purchase being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Bluegrass Uniforms Inc., of October 28, 2010. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Bluegrass Uniforms Inc., for furnishing the City with uniforms as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. Payment for said uniforms shall be charged to the Police Department Clothing Allowance account numbers. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ayor ATTEST: Tammara S.
