AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PAY FOR
THE SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF PORTABLE RESTROOM TRAILERS FOR USE BY
THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that due
to Wells Cargo Industries being the only manufacturer of a self -lowering or kneeling model
portable trailer restroom, thereby, making this a sole source purchase pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
make payment to Wells Cargo Industries, in the amount of $171,821.45, for purchase of three
self -lowering or kneeling model portable restroom trailers, with one being ADA accessible, for
use by the City of Paducah.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Pavilion (PA0086)
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
