HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-11-7760ORDINANCE NO. 2010-11-7760 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1424 AND 1442 BLOOM AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on October 18, 2010, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FROM R-4 (HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE) TO M-2 (HEAVY INDUSTRIAL ZONE) FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1424 AND 1442 BLOOM AVENUE" be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 (High Density Residential Zone) to M-2 (Heavy Industrial Zone): DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY TO BE REZONED FROM R-4 TO M-2 Said point being in the center line of Bloom Avenue, 25' West of the junction of the Southerly property line of 1426 Bloom Avenue and the Northerly property line of 1424 Bloom Avenue, thence extending East 198.25' to a point. Said point being in the centerline of an alley, thence extending South 150' along the centerline of the alley to a point. Said point being 8.25' East of the junction of the Southerly property line of 1442 Bloom Avenue and the Northerly property line of 1448 Bloom Avenue, thence extending West 198.25' to a point. Said point being in the center line of Bloom Ave, 25' West of the junction of the Southerly property line of 1442 Bloom Avenue and the Northerly property line of 1448 Bloom Avenue, thence extending North 150' along the center line of Bloom Avenue to the Point of Beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: S. Tammara S.
