At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at
1:00 p.m., Mayor Paxton presided, in the City Hall Commission Chambers, and upon call of
the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Abraham,
Gault, Kaler, Watkins and Mayor Paxton (5).
MOTION
R & F CALLED MEETING NOTICES
Commissioner Abraham offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Gault, that the Notices
of Called Meeting for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Gault, Kaler, Watkins and Mayor
Paxton (5).
ORDINANCE — ADOPTION
APPROVE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH JEFF PEDERSON
Commissioner Gault offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Abraham, that the Board of
Commissioners adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS AS NECESSARY
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND JEFFREY A. PEDERSON FOR
EMPLOYMENT AS CITY MANAGER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAME." This ordinance is summarized as follows: That the City of Paducah
approves an employment agreement and all documents necessary between the City and
Jeffrey A. Pederson for employment as City Manager for the City of Paducah and authorizes
the Mayor to execute an agreement for same.
