AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS NECESSARY BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND JEFFREY A. PEDERSON FOR EMPLOYMENT AS CITY
MANAGER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves an agreement and
all other documents as necessary to employ Jeffrey A. Pederson as Paducah City
Manager.
SECTION 2. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Mayor to
execute an Employment Agreement and all other documents as necessary with Jeffrey A.
Pederson for employment as City Manager as approved in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The primary term of the agreement shall be for an initial
period of 1 year, which shall commence on December 7, 2010 and terminate on
December 7, 2011. Thereafter, the term of the agreement shall be on a year-to-year basis
and shall be automatically renewed as of the anniversary date of the agreement unless
terminated by the City or Mr. Pederson as provided within the agreement.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
