At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held at
6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 1997, in the City Hall
Commission Chambers, Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of the
roll by the City Manager, the following answered to their
names: Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro, Smith and Mayor
Jones (5). The City Clerk did not attend this meeting.
NOTICES OF CALLED MEETING
JCommissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
Renfro, that the copies of Notice of Called Meeting of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 6:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, September 2, 1997, be received and filed. Adopted on
call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Renfro,
Smith and Mayor Jones (5).
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Smith offered motion, seconded by Commissioner
Coleman, that the Board go into closed session for discussion of
matters pertaining to the following topics:
J 1. Proposed or pending litigation, as permitted by KRS
61.810(1)(c)
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman,
Grumley, Renfro, Smith and Mayor Jones (5).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board reconvened
in open session and held a Workshop. Agenda topics were:
A. Landfill Discussion.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
