AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
REIMBURSABLE GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO
WITH THE KENTUCKY JUSTICE CABINET FOR A 2010/2011 LAW ENFORCEMENT
SERVICE FEE GRANT AWARD TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 1535, the City of Paducah applied for a
2010/2011 Law Enforcement Service Fee Grant through the Kentucky Justice Cabinet to be used
by the Paducah Police for a DUI Enforcement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Justice Cabinet has approved the application and is
now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a reimbursable grant
agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky Justice Cabinet for a 2010/2011
Law Enforcement Service Fee Grant Award in the amount of $8,780.00 for overtime hours and
mileage for a DUI Enforcement Program. No cash match is required.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
