HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-6-7690ORDINANCE NO. 2010-6-7690 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY APPROVING A CONTRACT ADDENDUM WITH THE PADUCAH POLICE BARGAINING UNIT FOR CONSUMER PRICE INDEX CALCULATION FOR EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE ALLOCATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ADDENDUM FOR SAME WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2006-2-2074, the City of Paducah authorized a contract with the Paducah Police Bargaining Unit; and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and the Bargaining Unit agree to change the CPI date from October to September of the prior year, to use for calculation for the employee health insurance allocation; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to authorize the Mayor to execute Contract Addendum No. 1 between the City and the Paducah Police Bargaining Unit. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves a Contract Addendum— Consumer Price Index with the Paducah Police Bargaining Unit and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Contract Addendum. SECTION 2. The Contract Addendum approved by the City in Section 1 above shall become effective upon execution and will expire June 30, 2011. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: `r Tammara S.
