THE SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS FOR THE
\` y PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that to
maintain consistency with other thermal imagers already in use in the Fire Department, this is
considered a sole source purchase pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
make payment to Bluegrass Uniforms, in the amount of $25,521.00, for purchase of 3 thermal
imaging cameras for use by the Paducah Fire Department, and authorizes the Mayor to execute a
contract for same.
SECTION 2. Funds received from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (Project
Account FI0022) will be used for the purchase authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
