AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND HUMANA INSURANCE
COMPANY, FOR THE SMART RESULTS PROGRAM FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement between the City of Paducah and Humana Insurance Company, for the Smart
Results Program for the employees of the City of Paducah, which engages employees in
their healthcare and provides long-term control of the City's health claims cost trend.
This Agreement is for the plan year beginning January 1, 2010 and ending December 31,
2010.
SECTION 2. A monthly fee of $25.37 per employee is included in the
administrative fee that the City currently pays to Humana Insurance Company.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
