AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE- BID -OF MIRACLE -RECREATION EQUIPMENT
COMPANY; IN THE AMOUNT -OF $4.9"557':00, * FOR SALE TO THE- CITY PARK_'S_. DEPART-
MENT OF VARIOUS PLAYGROUND -EQUIPMENT TO BE USED AT NOBLE PARK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,-- KENTUCKY ---
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid' of Miracle R6creation
-Equipment -C6mp6`ny, in -the amount of $4, 557.-00,�_ for sale to the PArk's- Department
of the following 'equipment to be: used at Nbible-Park:
Miracle able Space' -Sh ip" with - W a_'v_e Slide
2 Jet Interceptors with C Spring, (1 red, I blue)
I Satellite,
3 Park benches, (2 blue and 1 red, black legs)
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on
February 14, 1978, and as contained in the bid of Miracle Recreation Equipment
Company, dated February 18, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Miracle Recreation Equipment Company for sale to the City
of the equipment authorized in Section I above., according to the specification, bid
proposal and all contract do cum erits -heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION- 3.- The purchase price for said playground- equipment shall be
charged to Federal -Revenue Sharing -Account No-. 5125.
SECTION 4-,._� An' emergency- is declared t6- exist and -this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain :on file :for public inspection for at least one week
in the"completedform in which it shall be put upon its.r final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force -and effect immediately -thereafter.
