ANORDINANCE- APPROVING- THE FINAL REPORT OF,--THE-:PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION' RESPECTING .;THE . RE -ZONING -'OF_' PROPERTY -LOCATED-, ATI 800 SOUTH
FIFTH STREET,--, AND7 AMENDING THE PADrUCAH- ZONING ORDINANCE--,-- 1976: SO. AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING
- - BE .IT `ORDAINED BY THE BOARD .'OF COMMISSIONERS -OF--THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That a .resolution adapted by the Paducah Planning Commission
on March- 20, 1978, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL --REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING --COMMISSION ; ON -T.HF PR,0POSFI71; REZONINGOF, PROPERTY -:
LOCATED-. AT 800 -SOUTH-:FIFTH STREET!!, - --be - approved, aoi thefinal report --of said
Commission respecting:_ the-: matters therein set. -i.,
SECTION '2. ". �That-.the zone' classification . change-,- and the�;g ap amendment pro-
p-osed-:in. said resolution"be;,- and- the same: are hereby, declared, to'be.in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
;SECTION --1.: That: -the zone :classification :-,of the -following property be, and it
is hereby; changed- from -R-4,-,r-High Density _Residential `Zone- to B-3; -General Business
Zonae: .,.,
Beginning at the intersection of -the -center lines :of 5th
Street and Tennessee Street; thence in an easterly
direction: -and With the center line ..of Tennessee -Street
216.75 feet; thence at right angles and in a southerly
direction, with the easterly .line _-of .,an.'- alley,150 feet;
thence in a westerly direction and with the lines
separating the- -property � of Evans --from the property, of
Hammons 216.75 feet to the center line of 5th Street;
-thence Nin a northerly direction :and with the .center line
of 5th Street 150 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or
invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or provision- hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to
make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other
sections, paragraphs and provisions .
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
