AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND HONDA
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWLEVE (12) 1978 LTD II S FOUR -DOOR PILLARED HARD -

TOP AUTOMOBILES TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, FOR THE
SUM OF $54,527.52, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION ~l. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and
Honda for sale to the City of twelve (12) 1978 LTD II S four -door pillared hardtop
automobiles in the amount of $61,127.52 less trade-in of the following numbered
units: 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10 and 16 of Allan Rhodes' bid, making a net purchase price of
$54,527.52, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on February 14, 1978, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes
Ford and Honda dated February 27, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of the
equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION. 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
