ORDINANCE NO. 78-3-1539
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 172 - 22, PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATION OF CHAPTER OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 172-22, Penalties for Violation of Chapter of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky shall be amended and re -
ordained so that said Section shall hereinafter read as follows:
"'Sec. 172=22-, Penalties for -Violation of Chapter.:
.(a) -,Any -person violating the provisions, of- Sections -3, -4; 5, 6, 7, 8,
77.-_ - -
9, 10, 16,-,18;_. 19, :2.41; or 21; -of this -Chapter, shall;be deemed guy ty= of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof ; shall, be -fined in, an amount :not to -exceed $250.00, or be
imprisoned- in the City Jail for �a .-period not ; exceeding ninety (90) days, or be both
so fined and imprisoned-. -
.(b) Any- person violating the provisions of Section 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
and 17 of this Chapter shall ,be deemed guilty of a violation .and -upon conviction
thereof,. shall .be -fined in an -amount not to exceed $250.00.
(C) Each day a violation of this ChapterAs committed or permitted by
the person so violating to -continue, shall constitute a separate- offense and shall be
punishable as such hereunder."
SECTION 2. - The City Clerk. is hereby ordered and directed to advertise
this ordinance in accordance with - KRS 424
SECTION .3 . This ordinance shall be introduced and remain " on - file for
one week for. public inspection in the completed form in which it -shall -be' put upon its
final, passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and -effect ten .(10)' days thereafter.
