HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-2-1533743 ORDINANCE NO. 78-2-1533 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RASCHE CYCLE COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) RIDING MOWERS TO BE USED BY THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SEVEN DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-EIGHT CENTS ($1,907.88), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Rasche Cycle Company for sale to the City of three (3) riding mowers to be used by the Cemetery Department, for the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Seven Dollars and 88/100 ($1,907.88), said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Com- missioners on January 10, 1978. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Rasche Cycle Company for sale to the equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3614. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
