ORDINANCE NO. 7%-2-1529
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) AND DELETING SUB-
SECTION (i) OF SECTION 12-19 "NUMBER, RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS" OF
ARTICLE II "FIRE DEPARTMENT" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -section (a) of Section 12-19 "Number, rank and
salaries of members", of Article II "Fire Department" of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that same as amended - and` .
reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 12-19. Number, rarik' and salaries of'imembers:
(a) The number and rank of the members of -'the Fire'bepartment of the
City and their monthly salaries, provided such salaries -are not changed by an annual
apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows:
Position Number of Positions Base Monthly Salary
Chief 1 1,700.00
Assistant Chief 4 1,300.00
Captain -training officer 1 1,068.00
Chief Mechanic 1 1,068.00
Inspector 1 1,030.88
Base Hourly Rate
Captains 21 3.72
Lieutenants 21 3.43
Firefighters 42 2.68".
SECTION 2. That sub -section (i) of Section 12-19 Number, rank and
salaries of members be, and it is hereby, deleted in its entirely.
SECTION 3. This ordinance amends an ordinance originally adopted on
December 11, 1951 and last amended by Ordinance No. 77-12-1521, adopted on
December 17, 1977.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
