-BE IT ORDAINED BY, THE., BOARD OF COM,MISSIONER.S OF ...THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: _
SECTION -1.- That Section 3,2-21. Terms of. Office. Of , the Code,. of _
Ordinances .of .the. City of Paducah,. Kentucky shall. be amended and _reordained
so that said section shall hereinafter read as follows:
"Section 32-21. Terms of Office. _
Effective_immediately,.. the three (3) .members, of the. Commissioners of .
Water Works_. appointed,_ to office in, . 1978 shall, serve for terms of three (3) years,
four _(4)_ years. and -Jive (.5) ..years..., The remaining two (2) members of the
Commissioners .,of .Water_ Works:. shall complete the remainder of their three (3) ,
year appointed terms. Upon expiration of the aforesaid appointments each
member
appointed
thereafter shall serve-
for:
a_ term of five (5). years,..
Upon __a
vacancy
occurring
the Mayor, subject to
the
approval of the .Board of
Com-
missioners, shall appoint a member to complete the unexpired term.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
