AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF LAWANA I. WALKER, 200
BIRCH STREET, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
IN LOT 4, BLOCK 24, SANDERS ARCADIA SUBDIVISION, FOR THE SUM OF $500.00,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Lawana I. Walker, in the amount of $500.00,
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
Lot 4, Block 24, L. D. Sanders Arcadia
Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book "A",
Page 218-219, fronting 40 feet on the west
side of Sanders Avenue and running back
150 feet to a 20 foot alley.

Thurman R. Baker, Treasurer, by deed
dated, September 28, 1978 . and -of record in.
Deed Book 610, page 336 in the McCracken
County ,Court Clerk's :office
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $500.00 (plus $6.00 re-
cording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Lawana I. Walker, all of the right,
title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that
said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to
title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate
survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
