AN ORDINANCE' ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF FLORENCE AND
HUTCHESON, INC . , FOR PREPARATION OF' A MOVEABLE TWODWALL STUDY
FOR THE CITY ' OF' PADUCAH ,' FOR A ' SUM NOT TO -EXCEED 05, 000.00 , AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOB SUCH WORK
BE- IT ORDAINED BY THE`BOARD 'OF COMMISSIONERS .OF THE. CITY
OF PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
"-SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal_ of Florence
and Hutcheson, Inc., for an amount not to exceed $25;'000."90, for preparation
of a Mov'eablef-Floodwall Study for 'the-' "City "of_ Paducah.
-SECTIOlFT" 2.' That the City" Manager b4, and he i ' hereby, authorized
to enter into an agrement with Florence and Hutcheson, Inc. for preparation- of
said study according ' to the proposal submitted by Florence and : Hutcheson ,
and received and filed at the meeting of the Board of Commissioners Bold "on
September 12, 1978.
SECTION 3. _The charges for such proposal shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3225.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
ten (10) days thereafter.
