ORDINANCE NO. 78-10-1624
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH WOODENWARE , IN THE
AMOUNT OF $2,464.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY 22,000
CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Paducah Wooden -
ware, in the amount of $2,464.00, for sale to the City of approximately 22,000 clear
plastic bags, to be used by the Street Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the quotation requested on September 18, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Paducah Woodenware for sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, and according to the quotation of Paducah Wooden -
ware, dated September 25, 1978.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said plastic bags shall be charged
to General Fund Account No. 3412.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. N
