ORDINANCE NO. 78-10-1623
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF AMOS WAHL'S EXCAVATING
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE III OF THE INDUSTRIAL PARK SEWER
EXTENSION, FOR THE SUM OF $21,503.75, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Amos Wahl's
Excavating for the construction of Phase III of the Industrial Park Sewer Extension,
for the sum of $21,503.75, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed
by the Board of Commissioners on September 12, 1978, and as contained in the
bid of Amos Wahl dated September 22, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Amos Wahl's Excavating for construction of Phase III
of the Industrial Park Sewer Extension authorized in Section 1 above according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved
and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The construction of said sewer extension shall be charged
to the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
